Welcome to CTLS 2023

The 5th CTLS Congress took place at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland from June 27th to 29th, 2023 and was hosted by Dublin City University along with 9 other Universities across the island of Ireland. The event was a great success and featured many interesting talks, panel discussions and workshops. Attendees had the opportunity to meet new people, catch up with old colleagues and friends, share experiences and even participate in some Irish dancing!

 

The 6th CTLS Congress will take place in Brno hosted by Central European Institute of Technology  - more details can be found on the CTLS website

Professor Christine Loscher is a Full Professor of Immunology and is currently the Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Science & Health at the Dublin City University.

From COST actions to workshops and big conferences, Julia is a very active member within the core facilities and other scientific communities.

Dr Barry Moran runs the world-class Flow Cytometry Facility, a research technology platform, in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute at Trinity College Dublin.

Robbie heads up the Research Infrastructure Unit in Dublin City University which operates all centrally managed research equipment in DCU.

Kelly Vere MBE is the Director of Technical Strategy at the University of Nottingham, UK. She is a passionate advocate for technical skills, roles and careers in higher education and research and has written for the Guardian, Times Higher Education and Nature.

Prof. Marta Miączyńska is the Director of the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IIMCB) in Warsaw. She is a molecular cell biologist, trained in Poland, the UK, Austria and Germany.
