The registration fee includes:​

• Admission to all sessions and the exhibition area

• Tea, coffee and lunches throughout the conference

• Admission to the Welcome Reception on the 27 June 2023

• Conference badge

Networking Dinner

Please note the Networking Dinner in Croke Park on Wednesday 28 June 2023  is not included in your registration fee and will be an additional €35 per person.

Visa Letters

Delegates requiring a Visa letter/invitation letter can email the request to ctls2023@abbey.ie. Please note that visa letters will only be provided for delegates who have paid for their registration in full. 

Terms and Conditions of Registration

Registration Cancellation​

• Notice of cancellation must be sent by email to ctls2023@abbey.ie or in writing to Abbey Conference & Events at the address below.

• For cancellations received before 26 April 2023 a full refund less an administration charge of €50 will be granted.

• After this date refunds will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

• No‐shows will not receive a refund. 

• Substitutions are welcome

• If you test positive for COVID-19 and will not be out of your isolation period prior to your travel date/start of the conference, or if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you must not attend the conference. 

• In the unlikely case that the conference cannot be held in whole or in part due to any event beyond the Organisers’ control or force majeure (such as riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, acts of law or regulation by foreign Authorities, epidemic outbreak, sanitary emergency, etc) the Event Organisers cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred, such as transportation and accommodation costs, or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage. Conference registrations fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred or alternative arrangements offered to delegates.

• Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive any refunds.

 

Liability Waiver

The safety and well-being of our attendees is our top priority. The CTLS 2023 organisers are committed to providing a safe environment for the event and will make every reasonable effort to do so. However, as an attendee, you must fully understand and knowingly, voluntarily and irrevocably assume all risk related to entry into, and presence in, at and around the event venue(s), which may include an increased risk of exposure to communicable diseases. As an attendee, you hereby accept personal responsibility for your voluntary participation in the event and assume all responsibility of claims and potential claims relating to any risks and hazards of attendance.

Bursaries

 

The Microscopy Society of Ireland (MSI) are delighted to offer a bursary for CTLS2023 Early Bird Registration (worth up to €450).

If interested, please email kerry.thompson@universityofgalway.ie. Consider including details such as current role and future ambitions, background, interest in attending CTLS2023, (if) abstract submission, etc,  Please circulate to colleagues as appropriate.

To note​

• Applicants do need to be a CTLS member.

• Applicants do not need to be a MSI member.

• Applicants must work with some form of microscopy in their day-to-day jobs.

• Applicants must be available to attend CTLS 2023 in Dublin, June 27-29, 2023.

• Applicants will have their Early Bird Registration paid for.

• Applications will be reviewed by MSI and CTLS2023 Steering Committee and winners contacted April 25th (Early Bird Registration deadline April 30th).

 

CTLS are offering 2  x bursaries up to the value of €500

To note​

• Applicants do need to be a CTLS member.

• Applicants may be core scientists or technical officers, administrators of core facilities, PhD students, Post-docs etc. but not have managerial responsibilities.

• Applicants must be available to attend CTLS 2023 in Dublin, June 27-29, 2023.

• Applicants will have their Early Bird Registration paid for, and CTLS membership if required.

• Applications will be reviewed by CTLS Board of Directors and CTLS2023.

• Applicants will have their Early Bird Registration paid for, and CTLS membership if required.

• Applications will be reviewed by CSI and CTLS2023 Steering Committee and winners contacted March 15th.
